School HIB Grade 2021-2022

Langston Hughes School continues to focus its efforts on creating a positive school climate in which all of its students can thrive socially and emotionally to become successful citizens of our world. Our favorite word is Respect and our students are reminded constantly to show respect for self, others, and property - a key component in the art of getting along.

Our school has demonstrated strength in the following areas: implementing and assessing HIB programs as well as providing professional development for our staff on HIB Prevention and intervention.

During this new school year, even as we operate to a large extent from a virtual space, we will continue to seek your involvement in improving our overall effectiveness in HIB prevention.

Our HIB grade for the year is 77 out of 78.
